Here’s my version–deceit is important for many reasons when you are pushing an agenda that only succeeds if the populace believe there is social justice, mindless egalitarianism, pity, and a free lunch from the same intellectual wellspring.

Commies/socialists/progressives all suffer the same delusions about their fatal conceit and their good intentions that pretends to be committed to the utopian goal of social justice–everybody ends up with the same amount of stuff.

It’s a philosophy built on envy. Envy is a degrading and negative mental state.

True believers are blind.
